I represent partners of a struggling (hey, I am honest) forging business, located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The partners are considering selling the business. With an stabilized economy, several sectors in Brazil are booming: Oil and gas, automotive, construction. A summary description of the business: Our facilities is equipped to forge parts from 150g (1/3 pound) up to 80kg (185 pounds, app.), with different profiles, for heat forging, according to norm DIN 7526. We heat forge, in hammers, circular parts with diameters of up to 400mm (15" 3/4) and 600mm (23" 5/8) in length. In metal forging press we can forge parts of up to 140mm (5" 1/2). Our current production capacity is 30.000 ton/yr. Any forging business, interested in expanding into the largest economy of South America, should consider this as a potential acquisition.   Rio is most fabulous city and its great to have there. This city rises very well and everyone want to be part of it. Next Olympic is there. For business point of view is great thinking.
