Kenneth Green and David Furrer of the Rolls-Royce Corporation have published an article
describing trends in developing "advanced turbine engine materials".
These changes are being made to lead to higher efficiency and lower
emissions in a sector that they estimate contributes approximately 20%
of global emissions.
