We are trimming an eye bolt forging and part sticks on the punch that cuts the inside of the ring.

the trim die is a two strike, one strike trims the outside and the other strike trims the inside of the ring.

need some solution ideas please.

hello, i understand that you are doing trimming in two stages, that trimming outside in one station and piercing inner side in other station. there are two option, one is to use combined tool , this will help to increase productivity and quality, increase cost. next design face of punch with rack angle , and ensure no steps , sharp corners and requires good polish G Narendra kumar
